Fairy Tale
The Fairies in the legendary land of Annwn, in Wales, U.K are human sized. They do not have wings but often wear clothes with fabric wings attached. They like to wear floaty fabrics and flowers in their hair. Their eyes are brightly coloured and their hair changes colours with the seasons.The male of the species is called the Elf.
Fairies from other legends are often small winged creatures - these are called Pixies in Annwn.
Here is a brief history of the fairy and fairy tale;
A fairy tale is a story featuring folklore characters such as fairies, goblins, elves, trolls, giants, and others. a great deal of so-called fairy tales do not feature fairies at all. This is partly because of the history of the English term "fairy tale" which derives from the French phrase contes de fée.Talking animals and the presence of magic seem to be more common to the fairy tale than fairies themselves.
A fairy is a spirit or supernatural being that is found in the legends, folklore, and mythology of many different cultures. They are generally human like in their appearance and have supernatural abilities such as the ability to fly, cast spells and to influence or foresee the future.
